Do you love spending the winter on touring skis and being very close to the mountain world of Klewenalp-Stockhütte? We understand this! Please note the following information and rules:
Safety and avalanche blasting:
During the winter season, the ski patrol of Bergbahnen Klewenalp-Stockhütte triggers artificial avalanches to ensure the safety of the entire snow sports area. These controlled explosions are carried out when needed, and the affected slopes are secured and closed.
Use of slopes:
Outside the operating hours of Bergbahnen Klewenalp-Stockhütte, the slopes and facilities are closed and not protected against dangers such as avalanches (including avalanche blasting) or slope machines with cable winches. There is danger to life!
For ski tourers, the same FIS rules and SKUS guidelines apply as for all other slope users. Ski tourers ascend and descend at their own risk!
- Ascend or descend only at the edge of the slope
- Never enter closed slopes
- Ascend in single file, not side by side
- No crossing at places without clear visibility
- Be careful on hilltops, in narrow sections, on steep slopes or on icy ground
- Regular ski operations have priority and must be respected
Use of lift facilities:
If you would like to use a ski lift or chairlift for the ascent as a ski tourer, for example the Twäregg ski lift or the Chälen chairlift, a valid Ski Day Pass is required. If you use our lifts as a starting point and/or end point, you need a valid ascent and/or descent ticket or a Hiking Day Pass – the Half Fare Card and the GA travelcard are valid.
Emergency number / SOS:
In case of emergency, please inform our ski patrol via the SOS number: 041 620 01 88. You must follow the instructions of the ski patrol.
