Paragliding Klewenalp

Klewenalp is a popular take-off site for paragliding flights with landing in Emmetten or Beckenried. Paragliding is only possible during the summer season.

A light breeze is the ideal condition for flights in this area. During office hours on working days, contact must be made with the Buochs airfield control tower before flights: AM 119.625 MHz or tel. 041 624 59 01.

For passenger flights, it is best to contact a flight school with experienced tandem pilots (e.g. Emmetten-Titlis paragliding school, tel. 041 620 12 12).

Launch site
The launch site on Klewenalp is located 200 meters from the mountain station and faces north.

Landing sites

• Beckenried
  Please use the large official landing site at the Schützenhaus in Beckenried. The landing site at the village hall directly on the lake is an emergency landing site and requires written permission from the municipality.
• Emmetten
  Landing site "Berggrind" (west of the school sports field). This is the main landing site in Emmetten and is used for training as well as for passenger flights and can be used at any time and all year round by licensed pilots.
