Lake view and mountain view: The Twäregg Trail starts at the Klewenalp mountain station (1600 m above sea level) and initially leads along the hiking trail towards the PanoramaBar. From there, it follows the marked snowshoe trail through the forest to the Twäregg. The Twäregg offers spectacular views of the sea of fog above Lake Lucerne and the mountains of Central Switzerland. From Twäregg, the trail continues between the ski slope and the toboggan run to the Stockhütte mountain station. The cable car or sledge will then take you down to Emmetten. The Postbus (included in the price of the winter day ticket) takes you back to Beckenried in comfort.
Alternatively, you can branch off at Twäregg and take the Ängi chairlift back to the PanoramaBar. From the PanoramaBar it's downhill back to the Klewenalp mountain station.
